Appointments

If you have booked a special event hairstyle we recommend you have your hair washed and dried the night before or the morning of the appointment. A heat protectant can be used but do not apply any oil, serum, mousse, hairspray... Please do not use any other hot styling tools such as straightening irons.

Cancellation policy & deposits

We understand that sometimes you need to cancel/reschedule an appointment, so if you do need to do so, please give us a 48hr notice (minimum of 60 days for on-site special event hairstyles bookings), before your appointment date.

Deposits & payments

Salon appointments: The deposit is fully refundable up to 48h prior to the appointment.

Weddings and Events: The deposit is non-refundable. By paying a deposit, the client accepts the Terms & Conditions of the contractor.

The full balance is due 60 days prior to the event date.​​ The final invoice is sent at least one week prior to the due date. In the event of the balance not being paid by the due date, the deposit is forfeited and the services are canceled.

 

Please understand that if you do not give us any notice, we miss the opportunity to fill the appointment time with someone else, therefore you may be charged full cost of your original appointment.

We reserves the right to request a deposit or the full service amount to be paid upfront for any other services and products.

Refunds

Refunds are not offered for services already provided. If you are no satisfied with the results following a haircut or colour, please let us know within 7 days following your initial appointment.

We may accept to have the service re-done at no cost at our discretion. This excludes a change of mind.

Retail products are refundable if unopened and undamaged within 7 days of purchase.

Weddings special conditions

For weddings taking place on weekends, a minimum booking of four services is required.

A travel fee applies for island weddings and for locations more than 15kms from Airlie Beach.

Once a quote has been accepted and numbers confirmed, changes may be made up to 60 days prior to the event.

Inclusions:

We provide a wedding consultation and advice by emails and/or phone calls. A hair preparation guide is sent one month prior to the ceremony date. We provide paddings and can work with hair extensions provided by you.

Additional Time on the Day

I want you to feel completely at ease on your wedding day. If you’d like me to stay on past our agreed styling schedule—for touch-ups, last-minute adjustments, or simply extra peace of mind—an additional fee of $95 per hour will apply.

An "early start" fee applies for services booked before 7am.

Please note that if there are any delays to the agreed schedule outside of my control (ex: members of the bridal party not being on time) the additional hourly fee will apply.

Health and Safety

Please let me know if you are feeling unwell. Your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Please note, certain illnesses and medications can alter the result of colour services. Please let us know if you have had a recent surgery and/or are under specific medication known to have an impact on your hair. It has been reported that people whom are or have been infected with the corona virus have seen their hair react differently to hair dyes. Style au Natur'Elle takes no responsibility in the event of a colour product not reacting the way it should.

 

We will perform a skin test for any new client 48hrs minimum before the appointment. If you are known to react to hair dyes or haven't had a colour service in a long time then a skin test is required.

External contractors

We are happy to recommend other local vendors and provide contact details of Make-up Artists, Photographers and more.
